Timberline Ranch Country Christmas - Maple Ridge Wedding Photographer

Tis the season for festive activities, and Timberline Ranch Country Christmas has become our annual tradition. Last year my mum discovered this event, and fell In love with it's old school traditions of Christmas. Cookie decorating, hay rides, and cuddles with goats and ponies. As a parent, I appreciate the way they run this event. You have to sign up online, purchase a time slot, and they only have a handful of other families with you during this time. It's not crowded, there is so much room for everyone, and lots of fun activities for kids.

We start off in the registration room, where you get to explore all different kinds of decorated Christmas trees from local businesses. And you get to vote on your favourite! Then you head to cookie decorating, they bake the cookies in advance, hook you up with some icing and treats for decorating, then of course you get to eat it! The next step is loading onto the hayride, pulled by a tractor, and a tour of the property. Our pit stop is at the horse barn. They have pony rides, a hay maze, and so many cute fluffy animals to pet and play with. Back onto the wagon for the final part of the property tour. Once we arrived at the main building, we head inside for crafts, snowball fights, games and a awesome kids Photo Booth, complete with costumes. Upstairs is the mess hall, they serve hot drinks and snacks, or you can sit down for lunch.

After lunch you can roam the property, check out the cabins that are dressed up like old shops. Timberline is a full summer camp, with plenty of cabins, and lots of activities. I actually attended it when I was a young teen. The other fantastic part about this property is you can get married here! They have the most gorgeous church, and the property for photos is so pretty! Have a look at some of the images from our adventure!
