The Wood Lot is a hidden gem tucked away in the back of Maple Ridge B.C. Located just on Dewdney Trunk road, just past 280th. This wedding venue offers all the forest vibes you could ever want. You follow the well maintained gravel road towards the cozy, but spacious hall.
The hall itself holds up to 65 guests, and has a fully functioning kitchen, as well as two full bathrooms for guests. It also has a beautiful stone fire place!
**The hall comes with tables and chairs, although I would recommend renting chairs, as the ones included aren't "wedding" type chairs. You'll also need to rent linens.

The options for this wedding venue are endless. You could have your ceremony tucked in the forest, beside the pond, inside in front of the stone fireplace, or on the beautiful deck overlooking the forest.
Depending on if your reception is indoors or outdoors, there's also plenty of options! My favourite location is beside the hall in the grassy area. It's ideal for long table dinners.
Another great feature about this wedding venue, is that you could have all your guests camp! There is plenty of room in the parking lot for an RV, or have your guests set up tents around! Because it's available to you until the next day, you can all relax and enjoy the weekend!
This wedding venue is also super affordable! It's just under $1000 to rent the property and everything included. They event have cute benches for your ceremony! As I said earlier, you'll need to rent chairs, linens, and possibly tents if you are going to have your reception outdoors. Tents are the best insurance policy you can invest in for your outdoor wedding! Even if you don't use them, it's a great back up plan, and they don't cost as much as you might think!
