Chilliwack Tulip Festival 2019

We had such an early spring I almost didn't get out to the festival this year! Last year I took some clients to Bloom, the festival in Abbotsford. It was beautiful, but I have to say that the Chilliwack Tulip Festival is amazing! It's set away from the freeway, and it's surrounded by farmers fields for miles. The first little stretch was all daffodils, the big lead up to the main event!

I took my kids, and a good friend of mine who just happens to be pregnant out for some shots! It was non stop compliments for Katie while were were out shooting. She wore one of my maternity gowns, and I can't stop swooning over how gorgeous she looks!

Because we went during the week, and close to closing time, we had most of the field to ourselves! I loved exploring the fields, especially with the kids. They were in awe of the endless rows of flowers.

We finished off at my favourite time of day, golden hour! The light was just simply amazing <3

And of course the swings! They have a few of these little swing sets, set up all over the property, and the kids could not get enough!
