Rick & Amanda - Rowenas Inn on the River - Fraser Valley Elopement Photographer

When Rick & Amanda first started to plan their wedding, they had no idea it would be interrupted by a pandemic. With last minute changes, these two managed to pull off an intimate wedding, with just their family to witness.

Rowenas Inn has so many options for your ceremony, and these two chose my favourite. A large tree overlooking the river was the spot they wanted to say I do. Blending both their families together, all their kids stood up beside them to witness the moment they would promise to be together forever.

You could feel the love these two have for one another. Rick cried as Amanda walked toward him, a ball of emotions and pure excitement to marry the woman of his dreams.

Amanda's parents bought the couple the sweetest Mr & Mrs wooden signs, and we all gathered together masked up to commemorate this pandemic. I really loved how this family came together to make this wedding possible.

Amanda was such a trooper following me all around the property, being seven months pregnant wasn't going to hold her back from all the photos she wanted. We also had some fun playing with a smoke grenade, and exploring the golf courses dock onto the river.

The gardens at Rowenas offer so many variety's of florals, we ventured through and cuddled up. These two had rented a small cabin to get ready in, and it allowed us to explore the entire area surrounding the cabins.

If you haven't been out to Rowena's Inn on the River yet, it is a must see for a wedding venue. It's one of my favourite spots to photograph weddings! It has lots of options that will likely have something to complete your wedding vision! Check out their website for more details.
